Jennifer Roberts, Executive Director

Jennifer joined BPM Senior Living in 1998 as the nurse for Kingswood Court, Memory Care. In 2003 she became Executive Director in Corvallis at Regent Court, a “sister” Memory Care community and in 2006 she returned to Sheldon Park as Executive Director. Jennifer has 17 years experience as a nurse in rehabilitation, long-term care and dementia care. Throughout her experiences she obtained a vision of how staff should work together to provide the highest level of care for the residents. Jennifer is a member of the Oregon Geriatric Society, Advisory Board for Acute Care of Elderly Unit at Peacehealth University Campus, Advisory Board and Educational Work Group for the Alzheimer’s Association and team captain for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. Currently she coordinates the preceptorship program for OSU College of Pharmacy students at Sheldon Park and was instrumental in establishing the Western Oregon University preceptorship at Regent Court in Corvallis. Jennifer is married to a local physician, Dr. John Roberts, an internist with a specialty in geriatrics. He heads the Home Based Program for the VA. Jennifer has a daughter, Courtney who is a junior in college, currently living and studying in Spain.

Charisa Coxen, LPN Kingswood Administrator

Charisa Coxen has been with Sheldon Park for 6 years. She began her journey as a caregiver and was quickly promoted to medication assistant. In 2007 she received her administrators license and was appointed as the Administrator of Kingswood. In May of 2009 she completed her nursing degree as an LPN. Charisa is a certified trainer for Medic First and teaches First Aid and CPR. She is actively involved with the Alzheimers Association and Oregon Health Care Association. Charisa takes great pride in caring for the residents of Kingswood and their families.

Dorian Arcuri, Community Relations Director

Dorian joined Sheldon Park as Personal Preference Coordinator in 2007. She immediately made personal connections and enhanced the lives of Sheldon Park significantly that in 2009 she was promoted to Activities Director. Dorian had the knack of combining Personal Preferences with Activities and involved the specific talents of the staff who she managed. Currently Dorian holds the Community Relations Director position. She has strong ties within the Eugene community having graduated from Marist High School and going on to be a leader in marketing and customer service for several local companies. Dorian has an immediate heart to heart connection with families and loved ones looking for Assisted Living or Memory Care. With her expertise and compassion she is able to assist families and residents along their journey from initial contact to move in. For fun, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 26+ years and their two sons, who are competitive golfers. She also does freelance cosmetic artistry for several national companies.

Carey Gross, Community Outreach Director

Carey recently joined Sheldon Park as the Community Outreach Director. She moved to Oregon from Louisiana shortly after Hurricane Katrina where she worked for the state assisting victims of the storm with finding resources and benefits. Carey graduated with honors from ULM in Monroe, Louisiana, where she received a BA in Psychology. She most recently worked for the Alzheimer’s Association in marketing and special events and has a background in social services, fundraising and sales. She is currently a team captain for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and serves as a committee member for the Walk. For fun, she and her husband enjoy exploring the beautiful state of Oregon and traveling. Together they are raising a wonderful cat named Pudding.

Georgi Hall, RN, Health Services Director

Georgi has been a registered nurse for almost 26 years. She has a wide variety of experiences from spinal cord injury rehabilitation to psychiatry to surgical and finally to elder care in the SNF and LTC settings. Georgi is now excited to be a part of the team at Sheldon Park and learn about the world of assisted living! Her great loves, besides nursing are her roommate, (Mom!), her dog Jessie, needlecrafts, gardening, travel and her two handsome and successful sons who live in Lincoln City, OR. Georgi adores storytelling and listening to other’s interesting stories, especially from our seniors with their wealth of experiences. Her door, (and phone), are always open! Come by or call for any reason, even just to sit and relax for a minute!

Jenny Orlando, Business Office Manager

Jenny has been with Sheldon Park since 2010 and she is very excited to be here. She has over 18 years of experience in customer service, accounting and finance. Most recently Jenny worked for the 4J School System. She was innovative in developing a new attendance program which is currently in use today. She loves to work with people and numbers. Jenny sits on the board of the PTA at one of her son’s schools along with several other boards encompassing extracurricular activities. She has been married for 13 years and has three boys. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, reading and watching her sons play football.

Lisa Vos, Personal Preference Coordinator

Lisa has been at Sheldon Park since 2010, in that short time she has gone from part-time receptionist to Personal Preference Coordinator - making her a key liaison between staff, residents and family. Her twenty years of experience in the Customer Relations field has endeared her to the residents and their families. The staff counts on her endless effort and caring to make sure that residents are well looked after, and the family members know that she shares in their compassion for their relations and friends. Lisa is hoping to complete her Bachelor of Science in 2011 and plans to continue her education, earning a Master’s in Social Service. Her husband, Perry, works locally at Farwest Steel - their children, Taylor 16, Katie 15 and Addison 4 - keep them on their toes.

Jennifer Van De Hey, Director of Activities

Jennifer has been with Sheldon Park since 1998 as the Director of Activities. Prior to this she worked as a volunteer fire fighter/EMT. Her parents had a foster care home when she was growing up and she has always had a loving heart for seniors. Jennifer has been married to her husband since 1989 and has raised two beautiful girls. In Jennifer’s spare time she enjoys time with her family, gardening, and playing guitar at her church.

She passionately plans and executes a whole assortment of activities ranging from socials, physical activities, and outings. She teaches CPR and First Aid to staff, family members and people in the community.

Jerry Jefferson, Dining Services Director

Jerry started work at Sheldon Park eight years ago as a dishwasher, then became certified in food service management, and since 2001 has been a Food Services Director. He is highly respected by residents for his years of service and dedication and his willingness to listen and make changes as required.

John Bruehl, Maintenance Director

John has been employed at Sheldon Park for six years, in Food Services, Reception and Housekeeping, and has been Maintenance Director since 2006. He makes his job special with an occasional Elvis impersonation to sing for the residents, or by dancing with them on their birthdays. John enjoys reading and collecting vinyl records.
